Ben Freedman is a Toronto-based photographer currently exploring zine making. His two most recent zines explore his immediate surroundings. Using black and white 35mm snapshot imagery, the zines track his mood during the winter months in Toronto like a visual diary. They explore themes of isolation, stillness and self reflection using grainy, emotive images.
With the weather in Toronto warming up and people venturing outdoors again, we are curious to see how this might be reflected in future zines.
Second Zine. Third one on the way.
